Without forgetting Daraa Valley, the longest river in Morocco, as well as Merzouga Desert, to riding a camel in the magical Erg chebi sand dunes, watching the magical sunset and sunrise, and spending the night in a desert camp. Finally returning to Marrakech.

3 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech, High Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, Rose Valley, Dades Valley

We’ll start our day by picking you up early from your accommodation in Marrakech. then we drive across the highest mountain pass of Morocco Tizi-n-Tichka at about (2,260 m) altitude, we will stop at a summit to enjoy the view of the picturesque mountains as well as a road that looks like a snake’s path. After that, we continue to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, many international movies and series have been filmed there, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Cleopatra, Vikings, Prison Break, Game of Thrones… etc. Retracing our steps we will arrive in Ouarzazate, to continue along the road of the Thousand Kasbahs, villages, curves with dream landscapes, entering the valley of the roses, to the village of Boumalen Dades, we will stop at the viewpoint of the geological formation the fingers of monkeys. Dinner and overnight in a Riad in Dades Gorges.

Day 2 : Dades Valley, Todra Gorge, Erfoud, Merzouga Desert

On the second day, we will drive to the city of Tinghir, a city whose red color produces a wonderful effect, standing out on one of the richest palm groves in Morocco, and from there a short walk through the fascinating and grandiose gorges of Todra. After contemplating them, by the road of Tafilalt, which crosses villages with palm trees and passes next to ksars you arrive at the city of Erfoud (the door of the desert), to continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) It is a magical place that deserves much more than a glimpse at sunset or sunrise. However, upon arrival, a group of camels will be waiting for us to cross the golden sands of Erg Chebbi. We will stop at the highest peak to enjoy the magic of the sunset, then continue to the camp where Berber drums will enchant you as you dance around the campfire under a vast open starry sky. We will have dinner and sleep in camp in the heart of the dunes.

Day 3 : Merzouga Desert, Rissani, Daraa Valley, Ouarzazate, Marrakech

On this day, wake up early to enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, we will take a camel ride back to the car to head towards the town of Rissani to visit the donkey market and Moroccan spices. After that, we continue our way across the Daraa Valley, the longest river in Morocco to reach Ouarzazate. To continue our way again through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach Marrakech. Finally, we will drop you off at your accommodation or the airport.
