OVERVIEW: Day Trip from Fes to Meknes and Volubilis
We will start our day trip at 8:00 am from your hotel in Fez. We will head towards Meknes, one of Morocco’s historic cities, and then visit the historical ruins of Volubilis before finally returning to Fez.
Day Trip from Fes to Meknes and Volubilis
The day trip starts early from your accommodation in Fez. We then head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the former capital of the Ismaili dynasty. There we will visit some historical sites such as Bab Mansour and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After that, we may have lunch and then go to Volubilis to visit the ancient Roman historical monuments recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The day trip ends with a return to Fez.
