2 Days Tour From Marrakech to Zagora Desert Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech, High Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, Draa Valley, Zagora

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and head towards the city of Zagora The journey will be amazing with the many places we will visit in a short time, we start our journey to Zagora by crossing the high Atlas Mountains and Tizi n Tichka Pass (2260m) to reach the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the oldest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO Heritage site. We continue through the Draa Valley, where there are more than 10 million palm trees. After that we will climb another of the highest mountain passes in Morocco, the Tizi N’Tinififft (1,660 m), with panoramic views. Before reaching the campsite in Zagora, you will enjoy a camel ride in the desert and watch a stunning sunset. Then continue to the camp where Berber drums will enchant you as you dance around the campfire under a vast open starry sky. Dinner and overnight in a camp

Day 2 : Zagora, Ouarzazate, Marrakech

On the second day, wake up early in the morning to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the small sand dunes of the Zagora Desert. After breakfast, we will drive back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa), where many international movies and series have been filmed there, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Cleopatra, Vikings, Prison Break, Game of Thrones… etc. To continue our way again through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach Marrakech. Finally, we will drop you off at your accommodation or the airport.
